We have some exciting news to share…
There were wedding bells for Dr Natasha in April! We are all so happy for her, and enjoyed watching plans develop and excitement grow in the lead up, culminating in a truly beautiful special day. Dr Natasha managed to attend a 2-day ultrasound workshop before her wedding and is putting her knowledge to great use with our upgraded ultrasound machine, providing another diagnostic service as part of our patient care.
Dr Steph is having a baby! Having joined us last year from the US, this little one will be the only NZ-born member of her family! As amazing as Dr Steph is at multi-tasking, the clinic isn’t the best environment for a baby, so it does mean she’ll be taking parental leave. We are lucky to have enlisted two of our regular locum vets to cover this period. Dr Jenn Tseng and Dr Claire Harsent bring a wealth of knowledge and will be working set days each week. This ensures continuity of care for our patients, good communication with clients, and confidence when booking to see a specific vet.
The acupuncture clinic established by Dr Nat is going well, with a growing number of patients benefitting from this tranquil treatment. Acupuncture is mainly used for the management of long-term pain and/or inflammation. Please let our team know if you would like further information about this service.
We welcome nurse Sam H back from parental leave in late June. Extending a huge thank you to nurses Petra, Jade, Sam B and Kaitlin, who shared cover of Sam’s hours during the year.
