Making sure your puppy is thriving as it hits adolescence!
Now that spaying and neutering dogs is often done at a later age, some young dogs may go a whole year without being checked by a vet. This adolescent stage is really important – growing up can be challenging! So, we recommend our new adolescent check for your puppy at age eight or nine months (unless they have had their desexing surgery by this age).
We will check your teen-dog for all the issues that growing dogs can have
- teeth development
- body condition
- bone and joint development
- skin and coat health
- behavioural issues (a trainer may be recommended if issues are complex)
- heart re-check
- review the best age for desexing
An adolescent check costs $69 and we send you home with a free Nexgard flea treatment for your youngster!
