Boarding For Cats

We have some very special boarding units for cats available.

A lot of thought has gone into designing units that are what most cats want (if they could only ask). We recognize that a lot of cats are not happy being put into a situation where they are forced to associate with strange cats. Most cats are territorial and can find having to share space or even just seeing other cats stressful and frightening. Disease transmission amongst a bunch of stressed cats in contact is also a very real possibility. It is for this reason that we have designed individual units for cats (family members can share if they want), and a separate exercising area for the very energetic boarders.

We also provide cats with their very own snug box area with heating facilities for sleeping or just having some privacy.

Standard Pickup Hours & Special Requirements

We often find people in situations where their cats are on medication, or just elderly and perhaps a little fragile, and the owners are reluctant to go away and leave their cat either at home or in a cattery. These are situations where we can help. We stress that we are not a big commercial cattery, but would like to fill a niche and assist both cat owners and cattery owners in providing that supervised veterinary care that is sometimes required.  We do have plenty of young healthy cats to stay too, so we are not exclusive!

The hours for dropping off or collecting your cat are the same as our normal clinic hours.

  • Mon-Fri: 8.30am – 7pm
  • Saturday: 9am – 12 noon
  • Sunday: Closed

Special arrangements can be made outside these hours – ask us.
