Veterinarian Dr Natasha Kapoor joined us after Waitangi Day, fresh from a rotating internship at the Animal Referral Centre.  The 12-month programme had a strong focus on emergency medicine, so she experienced a wide variety of interesting cases.

Originally from Wellington, where she grew up with a Burmese cat and Jack Russell Terrier dog, Dr Natasha moved to Auckland a year ago (and immediately adopted a two- week-old kitten!).  She has a special interest in internal medicine, and is looking forward to building relationships with our clients.

Dr Natasha fills the vacancy created in May last year when Dr Caitlin moved to Dunedin, meaning our vet team is now fully staffed.

With an additional vet we have been able to increase our amazing nursing team, with Kendall joining us in March.

Graduating in 2019 from Vet Nurse Plus with a Diploma in Vet Nursing, she moved away from Auckland and spent a couple of years working at the largest veterinary practice in New Plymouth.  During this time Kendall gained experience in a variety of general practice services, including rehabilitation of Morepork, Kereru and Tui.

In 2023 Kendall returned to Auckland to pursue emergency vet nursing, working at the Animal Referral Centre.  Away from work she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and wakeboarding, and is also interested in film photography and fashion.
